What we are, what we are not, and what our numbers actually mean. Stated in the same size type as everything else on this site.

01

The short version

We are a preparation platform. We are not affiliated with any examining body, we cannot promise you a result, and our rank prediction compares you against other people practising here rather than forecasting an official outcome.

Everything below expands on that. None of it is buried, because a candidate deciding how to spend the months before a life-changing exam deserves an accurate picture of what this is.

02

No affiliation with examining bodies

iSmartExams is an independent product of Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd.. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of:

  • The Human Resources Development Service of Korea or the EPS programme
  • Nepal's Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog)
  • The Department of Transport Management
  • The Institute of Engineering or any university
  • The Medical Education Commission
  • IELTS, IDP, the British Council, Cambridge or the Japan Foundation

Exam names are used descriptively, to say which examination our material prepares you for. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

03

We cannot guarantee a result

No preparation platform can, and any that claims otherwise is not being straight with you. Your result depends on your preparation, the paper you get, your condition on the day, the competition in your cycle and factors nobody controls.

What we can say is what we measure: accuracy, speed, topic strength and consistency, and how those change while you use the platform. We report those honestly and we let you draw the conclusion.

04

What rank prediction actually is

Rank prediction places your scored attempts against everyone else preparing for the same examination on iSmartExams in the same cycle. It is a real ranking of a real population — people who practise here.

That population is not the examination population. Specifically:

  • People who practise on a platform are, on average, better prepared than those who do not.
  • Not every candidate for your exam uses iSmartExams.
  • Practice conditions are not exam conditions, however closely we mirror them.

So treat it as a strong signal about your standing among people who prepare, and not as a forecast of your official position.

05

Question accuracy

Every question is reviewed by a subject editor before publication and items are re-reviewed automatically when answer patterns suggest a problem. Despite that, errors reach the platform occasionally, as they do in every question bank including printed ones.

Report anything you believe is wrong using the report button on the question itself. If an item is genuinely incorrect we correct it and rescore every attempt it affected.

We do not warrant that our material is free from error, and you should not treat a single question as authoritative against an official source.

06

Syllabus alignment

Our content is built against official syllabus documents and recent papers, and updated when those change. There is inevitably a lag between an official change and our reflection of it.

Always check the current official syllabus, application window and eligibility criteria with the examining body directly. We describe those things for convenience and we are not the authoritative source for them.

07

AI-assisted content

Our editors use AI to draft question variations from official syllabus material, because it lets a small team produce volume. Every drafted item is reviewed and approved by a human subject editor before publication.

We state this openly rather than hiding it. If we ever changed that approval requirement we would say so on this page first — but we do not intend to, because the review is what makes the volume safe.

08

Community content

Answers, comments and explanations posted by members are their own opinions. They are not checked by our editors before they appear, and a highly-voted answer is not therefore a correct one.

Where a mentor or editor has marked an answer as accepted, that carries our endorsement. Everything else is a peer's view and should be treated as one.

09

External links and advice

We link to examining bodies, government pages and other external resources for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or accuracy.

Nothing on iSmartExams is legal, immigration, financial or medical advice. Decisions about employment abroad, visas or migration should be made with a qualified adviser and the relevant official body, not with a preparation app.

10

Beware of agents claiming a connection

We have no agents, no brokers and no representatives who can influence an examination result, guarantee a placement or expedite an application. Anyone claiming to represent iSmartExams in that way is committing a fraud.

Report it to hello@lacspace.com. We will say so publicly and cooperate with any investigation.
