Pass on time, and the
certificate issues itself.

Clear a mock test inside its time limit and iSmartExams writes you a certificate — free, automatic, with an ID and a QR code that anyone can check. It records the practice you have done, which is a different thing from an exam board's result, and this page says exactly where that line falls.

Be clear about this

A practice certificate, not an exam result.

It is issued by iSmartExams and it certifies one thing: that you passed one of our mock tests, within the time, at the percentage shown.

What it shows

  • The exam you sat and when
  • Your score and percentage
  • Distinction, Merit or Pass
  • That it was inside the time limit

What it is not

  • Not a JLPT, IELTS or HSK result
  • Not issued by any exam board
  • Not a licence or a qualification
  • Not accepted in place of the real exam

How you earn one

Three things have to be true.

There is no form to fill in. Pass inside the time and the rest happens on its own.

Step 1

Sit it within the time limit

A certificate only comes from a timed attempt. Running past the clock still scores, it just does not certify.

Step 2

Pass

Clear the pass mark for that exam. The grade on the certificate follows the percentage you reached.

Step 3

It issues itself

No application, no waiting, no fee. The certificate appears in your account with its ID and QR already on it.

Verification

Anyone can check it in seconds.

Scan the QR code or type the ID. The page that opens is served from our records — so what a reader sees is the certificate's current status, not whatever is printed on the copy in front of them.

A revoked certificate says Revoked on that page from the moment it is withdrawn, even if a printed copy still says otherwise.

Grades

Three bands, from one percentage.

The grade follows the percentage you reached on that attempt. Sit the exam again and do better and the same certificate is upgraded in place — the ID does not change, so a link you shared last month shows the better result today.

Five or more

One certificate for all of them.

Pass five exams and you can take a single combined certificate covering the set. The overall figure is total marks divided by total marks available — so a long exam counts for more than a short one, rather than every exam counting the same.

Using it

Three places it goes.

It is evidence of preparation. That is worth most where somebody is deciding whether you are ready.

Add it to LinkedIn

One tap adds it as a certification with the verification link attached.

Download the PDF

A print-ready copy at any time, for a file, an application or a folder of evidence.

Share the link

Send the verification URL to an institute or an employer. They see our records, not your copy.

One certificate per exam, kept up to date. Re-sitting does not create a second one to keep track of — it improves the one you already have.

Questions

What people ask about certificates.

Is this the same as an official exam result?
No, and it is important to be clear about it. This certifies how you did on an iSmartExams practice test. It is not issued by JLPT, IELTS, HSK, the Department of Transport Management or any exam board, and it carries no weight with them. What it is good for is showing the preparation you have actually done.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Certificates are free on every exam that issues them, including the free ones. There is no fee to issue, download, verify or share a certificate.
How do I earn one?
Pass the exam within its time limit. If you pass, the certificate is issued automatically — there is nothing to apply for and nothing to claim.
What happens if I sit the same exam again and do better?
The existing certificate is upgraded in place. The percentage and the grade update to your better result and the certificate ID stays the same, so a link you have already shared keeps working and now shows the improved result.
How does someone check that a certificate is real?
Every certificate carries an ID and a QR code. Scanning the code, or typing the ID at verify.ismartexams.com, opens a page served from our records showing the name, the exam, the grade and the date. Nothing is taken from the copy being shown to them.
Can a certificate be withdrawn?
Yes. If a certificate was issued in error or the result behind it is not sound, our staff can revoke it. The verification page then says Revoked rather than Valid, so anyone checking sees the current status rather than the status on the day it was printed.
What is a combined certificate?
Once you have passed five or more exams, you can get one certificate covering all of them. The overall percentage is your total marks divided by the total marks available across those exams, so a longer exam counts for more than a short one — it is not an average of percentages.
Can I put it on LinkedIn?
Yes, in one tap from the certificate. It adds as a licence or certification with the verification link attached, so anyone looking at your profile can check it in a click.

Your first mock test is free.

Pass it inside the time and the certificate is waiting for you when you finish.
