iSmartExams, iSmart Exams or iSmartExam? Every way to find us

The name is one word with a lower-case i, and almost nobody types it that way first. Every spelling people use, which ones reach us, and the shortest route to the login page.

This is an article about our own name, which is not a subject anyone sets out to write about. We are writing it because of a pattern in the questions we get: somebody has been told about us by a friend, a teacher or a consultancy, they go looking, and they cannot find us.

That is our fault, not theirs. The name is iSmartExams — one word, with a lower-case i at the front and capital letters in the middle. Nobody hears a name out loud and types it that way on the first attempt, and until recently several of the obvious attempts led to a 404 page on our own domain. Being told “not found” by the company you were looking for is about the worst answer we could have given.

How the name is written

Said aloud it is just “eye-smart-exams”. Written down, it closes up into one word, and three things trip people up.

The three parts

Each piece keeps its own capital, which is why the word has capitals in the middle of it.

  1. 1

    A lower-case i

Never a capital I. It is the family letter, shared with iSmartKid and iSmartClass — three products from the same company in Kathmandu.

  2. 2

    Smart, with a capital S

The second piece starts a new word, so it keeps its capital even though it sits inside the whole.

  3. 3

Exams, plural, with a capital E

With an s on the end. iSmartExam without it is a near miss rather than a different product, and a search for it still finds us.

What people typeDoes it reach us?What to know
iSmart ExamsYesThe commonest version by a distance, and how most people say it out loud.
iSmart ExamYesSingular. Same place, same catalogue, same account.
iSmartExamYesOne word, no final s. A search finds us, and so does the matching domain.
i Smart ExamsYesThree words. What happens when the name is read out over a phone.
ismartexamsYesAll lower-case, and also exactly our domain.
iSmart exam appYesYou want the Android or iPhone app. Both are free to install.
Smart Exams NepalPartlyDrop the i and the name is no longer ours alone; other sites show up too.
ismartexam.comYesOurs as well, since 18 October 2026. It redirects here, path and all.
Every spelling we have actually seen in search traffic and support messages, and what is true about each one.

Where you were probably trying to go

Most people who cannot find us are not looking for a marketing page. They are looking for the login screen, or the app, or a way to check whether a certificate someone sent them is genuine. Those are four different addresses, and treating them as one thing is exactly why people get stuck.

The four addresses iSmartExams uses

  1. 1

    www

www.ismartexams.com — the website: what the product is, which exams, what things cost.

  2. 2

    my

my.ismartexams.com — the portal: log in, register, sit mock tests in a browser.

  3. 3

    verify

verify.ismartexams.com — type a certificate ID and see whether it is valid.

  4. 4

    community

community.ismartexams.com — ask about a paper, answer somebody else's question.

www.ismartexams.com is the public website. my.ismartexams.com is the portal, where you log in and sit mock tests on a computer. verify.ismartexams.com checks a certificate ID. community.ismartexams.com is the forum.

Four destinations, all on the same domain. The portal is the one most people actually want.

Shortcuts that work now

Each of these used to be a dead end on our own domain. They are redirects, so you can type them into the address bar and land where you meant to go.

  • ismartexams.com/login — the portal's login page.
  • ismartexams.com/register — the portal's sign-up page.
  • ismartexams.com/portal — the portal. If you are already signed in, your dashboard.
  • ismartexams.com/download — the app page, which points you at the right store.
  • ismartexams.com/name — this subject, laid out as a page.

Those five are redirects we serve, so they work from any browser without anything installed. They were chosen because they are what people guess — not because they are clever.

Right name, wrong product

The other half of the confusion is the family. The lower-case i runs through three products, so the names are easy to swap: iSmartKid is early-years learning for ages three to ten, iSmartClass is school management for institutions, and iSmartExams — this one — is mock tests and vocabulary for language and licence exams. If you landed on a school timetable or a counting game, the name was right and the product was one of the other two.

The exam catalogue sorted by language and topic

The catalogue, grouped by language and topic.

A JLPT question in exam mode with the timer and question map

A paper in exam mode, with the countdown running.

An exam result: 95%, passed, with accuracy, rank, speed and time spent

Your score the moment you submit.

What you are looking for, if you were looking for the app: the catalogue, a paper in exam mode, and the result at the end of it.

Checking an address is really ours

Because the name is easy to get slightly wrong, it is worth knowing what right looks like. Everything we serve the site from ends in ismartexams.com: the website, the portal at my., certificate checks at verify., and the forum at community. There are four, and that is the entire list. On the stores, the publisher is Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and the apps are listed as iSmartExams. If an address does not end in ismartexams.com, it is not us, whatever it says in the middle.

Frequently asked questions

So is it iSmart Exams or iSmartExams?
iSmartExams, one word. Plenty of people write iSmart Exams with a space — including us, in conversation — and it makes no difference to anything. There is one app, one account and one company behind every spelling.
Does the spelling I used change what I can see or what I pay?
No. One catalogue, one set of prices, one account system, reached from whichever spelling got you here.
Where do I log in?
my.ismartexams.com, or type ismartexams.com/login. On a handset the app signs you in with the same account. There is no login on the main website — nothing there needs one.
Does ismartexam.com work, without the s?
Yes. We registered it on 18 October 2026 and it redirects to www.ismartexams.com, keeping whatever path you typed. Both the plain and the www version work.
Spelling & shortcutsThe same thing as a page, with every spelling, every address and every shortcut in one place.
