Reviews

Tried iSmartExams? Say so.

There are no reviews on this page, and that is deliberate. We do not write our own and we do not publish any we were not given. The stores are the honest place to look, because we cannot edit what you put there.

NOTHING HERE YETYour review goes on the store, where we cannot edit it

Why it is empty

This page used to have six testimonials. None of them were real.

They were written to fill the space, attributed to named people in named towns, and they sat on an indexed site. They have been deleted rather than softened, and nothing has replaced them. If that costs us a few sign-ups, it costs less than being the kind of site that does it.

Three ways

Where a review actually helps.

In roughly the order of how much good it does the next person.

  • Google Play

Tap a star under Ratings and reviews. It takes about thirty seconds.

    Review on Google Play
  • App Store

Tap Write a Review on our page. Apple shows it beside the rating.

    Review on the App Store
  • Tell us directly

Bugs, wrong answers, missing explanations, ideas. A person reads every one.

    Send feedback

If you write to us

Three things that make feedback fixable.

Name the exam and the screen

“JLPT N4 grammar set 3, question 12” gets fixed. “Some questions are wrong” cannot be looked up.

Say what you expected

Half of what reaches us is a difference of opinion about an answer, and knowing your reasoning is how we tell those apart from genuine mistakes.

Tell us what is missing

The catalogue grows from requests more than from plans. If the exam you need is not here, that is the single most useful thing you can say.

What happens next

A person reads it, and wrong answers get corrected.

Feedback goes to a monitored mailbox, not a ticket queue nobody opens. A reported mistake goes to whoever owns that exam, and a genuine error is fixed for everyone sitting it — not patched for the one person who noticed.

Questions

About reviews and feedback.

Why are there no reviews on this page?
Because we have not been given any we are allowed to publish, and we will not write our own. An earlier version of this site carried testimonials attributed to named people in named towns that nobody had actually said. They have been removed. An empty page is the honest state until that changes.
Will you ever publish reviews here?
Yes — ones real learners send us, published with their permission and attributed the way they ask. Until then the store listings are the place to look, because we cannot edit those.
Why send me to the app stores instead?
Because a review you leave on Google Play or the App Store is outside our control. We cannot delete it, reorder it or quietly bury it. That makes it worth more to the next person reading it than anything we could put on our own site.
Do you show a star rating anywhere?
No. We do not publish an aggregate rating or mark one up for search engines, because the honest number is whatever the stores say today and copying it here would just be a snapshot going stale.
What happens to feedback I send directly?
It reaches a monitored mailbox and a person replies. A reported wrong answer goes to whoever owns that exam, and if it is a genuine error the question is corrected for everyone, not just for you.
Can my institute give feedback as an organisation?
Yes, and it is worth doing separately from a learner review — the things institutions need are usually about batches, reporting and timing rather than about the questions.
